Penny is a real gentle female.  She is always the enthusiastic to come out and work but she is very much the lady.  She will however wind objects easily and cover a field with her nose placed firmly to the ground and never give up until she has found her retrieve.  Penny started to come out of her shell at about 6 months and has shown since that cover will not phase her and she has developed a very fast turn of speed.  She has been out regularly in the shoot season and proved to be a steady and reliable member of the team. We were really pleased that she has passed all relevant health checks and has just passed her BVA eye test for 2015.  Penny was mated and made a lovely mum two years back and hopefully we will be having another litter in 2015 albeit late on in the year.

Holly has grown and progressed really well. She has excelled in her training . She has a very strong muscular physique and reacts to her tasks with athletic turns of speed . Fortunately she has now learned to come down her gears and hunt small areas with method. We have experienced walk up days on partridge and shoot days on pheasents and she has calmly matured with experience. This last season she came out picking up and was used for the long specific retrieves to give her experience but not to spoil her. Sadly her hip scoring was rather high on one side which took the wind from my sails for a week or two but it certainly hasnt stopped her and as training friends say 'if thats jumping a five bar gate with bad hips give me bad hips'.  I am looking forward to what the next year brings for Holly and if in the future she ever has to slow her pace down she will join the picking up team and be a huge assett there.

Swifts training was put on the back burner slightly over the earlier part of 2012 but she was ready for the shoot season and  enjoyed being part of our team. The delay did her no harm as she was enthusiastic and always willing to learn. With maturity on her shoulders she dealt with the skills I taught her and now her out run is with confidence and speed and her game finding skills have flourished. I saw her mum being handled by her breeder Anna Licciardi and knew I would like the offspring from this litter and have not been dissappointed.

Swift has now completed a couple of shoot seasons successfully and has proved she has excellent game finding abilities and a steadiness that shows maturity and thought.  She has successfully whelped one litter of puppies and was a brilliant mum she raised 9 strong pups and then went back into her shoot season once recovered with enthusiasm and no messing.  I am looking forward to her second litter of puppies this year 2015 as I will be mating her with Calderhey Adder the sire of Holly and will be keeping a couple of puppies to bring on and train here.
